Q: Doesn't physical therapy need to be hands on?
A: It's true that we use hands on techniques to get some of our clients better. What most of our clients tell us is the most valuable part of their treatment is the knowledge of what is happening with their body and pain and what the plan is to get better. We are able to do that through our virtual physical therapy assessment which allows us to watch you move and perform testing to determine the cause of your pain.
Q: What happens on my first visit?
A: Your first visit will be a very thorough assessment and give you a clear understanding of what your pain or problem is, what the plan is to get you back to your goals, and we will start your exercise program that day. You will leave with exercises and information to jumpstart your recovery roadmap.
Q: What makes you different from another physical therapist?
A: You won't hear us telling you that you need to stop running, working out, exercising because of your injury. We will work with you on how to stay as active as possible and get you back to doing what you love. You will always receive personalized, one on one care that gives you the best possible opportunity to recovery as quickly as possible.
Q: Do I need equipment for virtual sessions?
A: Most likely, no. We are able to be adaptive with the exercises we give you based on what equipment you have available. Even if you don't have any equipment, we will be able to get you started with body weight exercise.
